Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in my garden, home, and travel! Enjoy.

One Kings Lane Ottoman

One Kings Lane Ottoman

I hemmed and hawed over the perfect ottoman for our living room for over a year so I’m excited to share that I finally committed to the Liza Skirted Ottoman in Floral French Blue from One Kings Lane! After some light re-arranging of furniture on that side of the living room, I’m very pleased with the space. Because our living room is long and narrow, I aimed to create distinct spaces for conversation as we entertain often. Not only does the ottoman tie the area together in a cohesive design, but it provides a well-needed spot to put your feet up while on the love seat or in the arm chair. It also can serve as an additional seat when we are entertaining a bigger crowd. It is a bit lighter in color in person compared to the online photo. I would say it is a true french blue.

You can read about my photo gallery wall and see the old living room layout here: https://www.threelittlelimes.com/blog/gallery-wall

I love the Lands Down Under throw blanket on the ottoman! It is super soft and the perfect shade of blue. I purchased it from Ballard Designs.

Also recently purchased are the Urban Outfitters wicker side tables on either side of my grandma’s love seat. At $79 each, they were a total deal! I saw these on Nicola Bathie McLaughlin Instagram page and swiped up in time to get a pair before they sold out. If you’re interested in purchasing this side table, I recommend following her page as she usually posts as soon as they get back in stock.

Embroidered cocktail napkins are having a huge moment and I am here for it! This cute set is from Tuckernuck. I gifted them to myself after successfully giving up alcohol for all of Lent this year. This was particularly challenging as Lent was right around the same time as the pandemic began!

The ottoman ties together the love seat and blue arm chair that both belonged to my grandmother. I love mixing new and old pieces together to create unique and timeless style. I can’t wait to enjoy this new space with close friends!
